How many auto insurance commercials do you see that claim to save you so much money if you switch your insurance to them? AAA, Geico and Progessive to name a few use this tatic all the time. Funny thing is some of them even refer to the other companies in their commercial which basic means that if you switch to AAA from Geico you will save $XXX and if you switch from AAA to Geico you will save $XXX. How is that logically possible you ask? Well it isn't! The secret with these commercials is the company claiming to save you so much money is taking the highest filed rates from the other company as a comparsion.
The truth is that if you have a trusted advise assisting you with your insurance porfolio, you should already be getting a great value. Yes you can always find someone "cheaper" however it is the service, claim process and coverages that will be what you give up. You might not know it now, but you sure will when you need to file a claim or need assistance.
